Just graduated from the police academy here in Texas. I passed my state licensing exam last week and I'm so ready to begin my law enforcement career. I would appreciate any helpful tips or pointers someone could provide about applications and interviewing.
I have an interview next week with a department. It actually is my first interview ever. I've been reading alot of info about police interviews and what they are like, I was wondering if anyone on here has recently gone through that stage and has some helpful tips.
When I was 17, I got two speeding tickets. And at the age of 18 I was arrested and taken to jail for criminal trespassing. I am 23 now and would like to go into the law enforcement, will my past prevent that from happening?
Getting pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt? I was driving with my seatbelt on and I told my passenger to put on his seatbelt, well he didn't. A cop pulled me over. Who is responsible for the ticket, me or the passenger.
When I was 15 years old, I went into my friends home when no one was there and took a couple video games. Can I still become a police officer? Do I tell them this info when I go for an interview?
I am currently an active duty Marine of ten years. I plan to apply to some Police Departments in my area soon. Looking forward to gain alot of knowledge and experience from all of you.
