Connecticut governor proposes quadrupling pistol permit fee

Connecticut Governor Malloy has proposed quadrupling a five-year renewal fee for pistol permits in the state as part of his plan to battle Connecticut’s deficits.

“To single out those people who work hard, pay their taxes and want to exercise their constitutional rights and protect their families is unfair,” said the House Republican leader Themis Klarides.
