Houston Police Officer Injured In Crash

A Houston police officer was injured in an accident early Monday morning in southwest Houston. The officer's patrol SUV collided with a blood center van.

The police officer and the four blood center employees were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident and everyone involved was not immediately released.
