Information on Police Academy

I have been accepted to attend the police academy this July. I am self-sponsored. I really want to be totally prepared and I want to ask you guys what I should expect. I want to get a list on the things I need, however the guy at the academy told me I would find out everything during orientation. I really hate waiting until the last minute and I really want to get stuff together now. I really want to get a head start. So I would like ask you guys if you can give me some information on what to get and what to expect about the academy.

If you were told you will find out during orientation then you should wait. I understand you want to be prepared and you are excited, but don't be that guy. For now just keep up with pushups, situps and running. Before you know it, your day will be here.
