The Chicago Police Department attended five-year-old Alex Valadez, Jr.'s kindergarten graduation and made it one unforgettable ceremony. Fallen officer Alejandro Valadez, Sr., and Alex's father, was killed in the line of duty three weeks after he was born. Police gave him a new bike and an honorary policeman's jacket. Alex smiled from ear to ear and saluted the officers while walking down the gymnasium of his school. Officers hugged and congratulated the five-year-old on his big accomplishment.
