Wow, she was incredibly lucky! But that is what you get for fleeing. She should have stopped while she had the chance. I'm happy she got to live and right her wrongs.

Okay, this is sickening. Did she have a history of mental problems? It just doesn't seem right doing something like that out of the blue. I'm really sorry for the child though, for having such a bad parent. But mostly for the immense pain he must have felt during the whole "operation".

The best way to get out of a ticket is to obey the law. However, if you did break the law, be as polite as possible. Do not keep repeating "am I under arrest, officer." Try to be friendly and explain the situation. If you still get a ticket, embrace it, learn your lesson and move on.

I don't think police officers can get suspended for being overweight, if they can still perform their daily duties. But if you ask me, police officers should be fit and agile! They have to be able to pursue a criminal, sprint after them if need be! You can't do that if you are obese, right...
