Man Calls 911 To Report Wife Stole His Cocaine

It's a modern form of survival of the fittest. Let the morons get locked up, or get themselves locked up rather. Like you said, makes the cops' jobs easier so they can concentrate on the bigger fish.

Would you rather go to jail for a year or live in your car for a year?

I've lived in my car for 3 months and I've been to jail once for an undisclosed amount of time. I would pick living in my car any day. At least in your vehicle, homeless or not, you are free. To have that freedom taken away is the most horrendous feeling in the world.

Do you believe your local police earn their paychecks?

Well, I'm not sure what my local P.D. makes, but I think it depends on the officer. I live in a really small town, and most of the police hang out at the local 24-hour gas station and talk all night. I've even seen officers ignore blatantly drunk drivers because they didn't want to be troubled...

The F.B.I. does racial profiling, but do local police?

They do all sorts of profiling. Racial, class based, even based on sexual preference. Now I'm not saying all departments and officers do this, as that is far from the truth. But it does exist without a doubt.

    I failed my polygraph

I agree. They are very flawed, and can be tricked or produce false results easily. I would certainly appeal and take the test again. There's no reason a potential career should be offset by a flawed process. Best of luck to you!

Do you take anything for stress or anxiety?

I suffered from anxiety for a long time. Daily exercise and a good diet will beat a prescription any day. But that's just for me. Different strokes for different folks.

    Craziest Arrests Ever Made?

I heard of a smiliar story of a toddler getting arrested for not doing his chores. I'm not sure how legit that was though. I'll look for the article and post it (if I can find it). I think some instances like these aren't that serious, and are probably just scare tactics to catch the kids while...

I was backing up out of a parking spot

I've had a similar experience... and I'm not a police officer, so I'd love to hear from them as well. I lived in a no-fault state, and had no proof that the other driver was at fault so we both had to file claims and move on. Nothing I could really do, or so I was told.

71-Year-Old Woman Is Chest-Butted In Fight Over Parking Spot

That's horrible. I am really losing faith in humanity... Over a parking spot?? I would walk 5 miles to get to the store before I ever harmed a human being over being a little closer to the front door.

To pull the trigger or not?

Well put. I'm not a police officer myself, but I come from a long line of Marines, and I have heard repeatedly the gravity of taking a life. As a young teen, I tried asking my father about his time in the service and if he ever took a life. I've never seen him close up like that before or since...

    Legalize Prostitution?

I believe it's everyone's personal choice. I understand the government has a hard time making any money in the sex business, and that's part of the reason it's illegal. I know in at least one country the government provides disabled individuals an annual stipend to buy sexual services.

To pull the trigger or not?

I agree. Although sometimes these experiences can be traumatic and I can definitely understand the reluctance to share. I'm sure it's intense... and frightening.

    Personal opinion on marijuana?

I was a resident of Michigan when they passed the law for medical marijuana. As a long-time nerve pain sufferer, I decided to give it a go (LEGALLY!). It did help with the symptoms, but created issues in it's own right. Though by state law I could consume, possess, and grow certain amounts of...
