Why do cops tailgate speeding drivers to "provoke" them to speed more?

I clearly said unmarked vehicles, else, why would the drivers go even faster? They tailgate and most drivers usually go faster to show they can go faster than the one tailgating, and that's when they stop you at a high speed.

    Dear cops

I was caught by the title, thinking it was either some rage against them or a question. I guess they have cool days, except when they have gun fights where they lose colleagues or have some more sentimental problem.

    Your dream job?

I honestly dream with working in a computer store, fixing computers and all that. It's not that far from possible but I'm not the in the right study patch for it.

    Sleeping in the daytime

Haha, that's a very good solution I must say. If it looks and sounds like night, it'll feel like night, specially because you're tired.

What movies have you seen recently?

Frozen is the last movie I watched as far as I can remember. I loved it with all my heart and I admit I cried.

What is an Officers standard isse?

I guess some cool flashlight would be nice. Preferably one superior to the one he currently uses. I'm pretty it'd turn out useful.

    Anybody using dash cams

I actually thought it was mandatory to have your dashcam on at least in pull-over situations when they have to do sobriety tests and such, so they can have proofs in court cases.

    Buying beer

You know, it's not that straight. Don't you agree with me that restricting teenagers and young adults until they're 21, will cause them to overdo it when they are finally allowed to?

Why do cops tailgate speeding drivers to "provoke" them to speed more?

Ergh, I just said they admitted the reason why they do it. They don't need to read the plates, at least at Portugal, as the cameras get it for them.

What is the protocol for partners who can't stand each other?

I guess they have the option to change partner if they really can't stand each other to the point it can affect their job and performance.

Why do cops tailgate speeding drivers to "provoke" them to speed more?

Portuguese police did it on a TV interview(kind of ride along) and they was doing it on purpose, even admitted it when questioned. P.S. How bad can roads be that you can't hit 150kmph? I can hit that speed and a lot more in normal country roads here, for the road condition, not the limit...

What to do when you witness domestic violence?

I have to agree with that, yeah. If the victim doesn't want to press charges after you've done something about it, you'll be the one getting sued, most likely.

    Buying beer

Indeed. 21 is too late. I drink alcohol since I was 16 though back then I only did it at home and with my parents or family. It's not like alcohol will kill you if you know how to drink and when to stop. Restraining teenagers from something for too long will cause them to overdo it when they're...

If you could live anywhere you wanted, where would you live?

I'd go to a part of France I know near the mountain. It's a rich area, calm, barely any crime, and the view is amazing. I'm living in the city at this point, at France too, so... I wouldn't mind some parts of the USA neither, like California.

    What is your earliest memory?

That's a weird memory, and why was you sucking your mother's breasts at 3 years old? I don't think she had milk by that time. Just curious. I think the earliest memory I have is from a travel we did to spain, I was probably 2 or 3 and I can remember some beach scenes for some reason.

What would you do if you had a million dollars?

I'd help my family and get myself settled up with a decent house and a car. The rest I'll either invest or put up in savings. 1 millions dollars isn't enough to buy that much of a big house here at France neither though, so I wouldn't go too far with it.

    Sleeping in the daytime

Well, if you're able to correctly sleep the required hours for your body to rest during the day it won't be a problem for your health, just your normal routine that'll be messed up. Do you know of any negative effects of it?

School asks officer not to wear uniform or sidearm while picking up daughter

I guess the parents that raised the problem were afraid that he isn't that much competent. It's a truth that police is not what it used to be and people can act out of stress, but indeed, it's too much. You can't keep your children inside a bubble forever neither.

What's the riskiest thing you've ever done?

I'm glad she caught you in the way of doing it, before you get serious injuries or even worse. The riskiest thing I've ever done was probably huh, putting some plastic thing inside the electricity stuff. Luckily it wasn't metal, and the electricity just shut down the moment it touched inside.

What do you do when you're bored?

Whenever I'm bored I usually listen to music, search the internet, watch youtube videos from the youtubers I like and follow, facebook, forums, a bit of everything after all. I also like to go and drive around without destination when I have fuel, or ride a bicycle, eat...
