This just seems like a simple hit-and-run to me, nothing out of the ordinary. She probably just hit the other person by accident and in the panic tried to drive away.

I think that while you are all assuming that she wanted to rob the place, they had been on a few dates, maybe she just wanted to surprise him? Maybe she was dressed as a sexy Mrs. Claus?

What a terrible human being, that wouldn't even be right to do to your own child, nevermind doing it to someone else's. I hope she does some time for this, but I doubt that it will happen.

While it is a pretty strange arrest, I'm sure it was in part due to him have plenty of prior convictions. I think they made the right decision in any case, he was being a danger to his fellow citizens.

It's a bit contradicting that you need to be in great shape to join the police force, because we see lots of out of shape cops around... There's even the stereotype of cops and donuts...

I agree Peninha, a case like this can't take over a year to be decided, it really shows how slow our justice system is and it needs to be improved.

I think that a detention is the time where you can be held without any formal charges being raised. However, I think that the law was changed so that in cases of suspicion of terrorism you can be held indefinitely without charges and that's a scary situation to find yourself in...

How can the lawyer not understand why the shop was closed? He is either an idiot or playing one to try and get his client off.

Oh my god, this makes my blood curl. I hope she gets locked up so she can't see her child and is never able to have any other, how can someone be so violent for something so simple as her child not counting to 12?
