I agree, the mother is clearly sick and evil and definitely deserves a heavier punishment than what she got. The aunt also should be charged for abuse as she is the one who started this whole thing. I really hope the grandparents can do better by their grandson and provide him a healthier happy...

Its stories like this that makes me so angry. I think the gun laws in the U.S seriously need to be reviewed. It seems as if anyone can have a gun license and there has been way to many stories of children "accidentally" getting shot. In my opion the only poeple who should be carrying guns is law...

Good for them for doing such a heroic act! Its people like this that make the world a better place and we should be thankful for people like this. When everyone is running away from the fire they are running into it and I'm grateful for it.

This is really scary to think someone would kill their friend over $5.00!! I think there is a lot more to the story although who knows, maybe he had a very poor financial situation but in that case then he shouldn't have been gambling! Such a sad tragedy.

This is very scary. Where does an 11 year old learn this from? When I was 11 I loved babies and was very nurturing towards them. I would guess that this 11 year old was probably abused at home and its so heartbreaking. There needs to be some investigating into the child's situation at home.
