I do get a pretty runny nose when I'm cold, and it's not enjoyable at all during harsh winter nights. Other than that I quite enjoy winter, it's always nice to see a change in landscape, and have a reason to laze around at home :P

I only dropped by a police station before to return a lost wallet I found. It had a ID card, some money and many credit cards so I think they would be able to track down the owner pretty easily. The policeman who attended to me was really courteous and thanked me for my trouble.

Facebook is pretty much the only social network in use, maybe LinkedIn if you are into corporate occupations or HR. Google+ is honestly a joke at the moment, and Friendster/Myspace has long since died out.

Warm honey, or hot chocolate is a sure way to get the chills away. That, or snuggle into a nice blanket. If you're the more active type, doing some pushups/skipping pumps warm blood around your body and drives the cold away.
