Though I somehow respect this mother, I am not really in favor of her hitting her own son in public. I mean, that would have embarrassed the kid. He would feel degraded. I wish she just talked to him calmly without having to attract everyone's attention. Just saying.

Thankfully, no one has been fatally injured/hurt. I hope this is just an accident, not planned at all. It would be quite alarming if someone really did set out that fire.

If I find something illegal over the internet, I think I would report it to the authority if the case is really serious. But if not, and it's just my instinct, I don't think I would contact the police. Probably, I would just anonymously send them a message/email regarding what I have found.

Well, I think that would be a good idea. It could be a big help for honing their behavior/attitude on dealing with other people.

Craigslist doesn't look so legit now. We should be really very careful about meeting and dealing with people over there. We all know that the cyberspace is full of evil. Stay alert all the time.

The truth is that you can never settle any dispute if two of you are mad as hell. And yes, the best thing to do is to apologize. In a situation like that, there's no room for pride and anger.

Same with Rainman. I think police officers see citizens as the ones for them to protect and serve. But somehow, sadly, other cops don't think the same way.

I am not really sure if I like this idea or not. I think calling the cops would not help you raise a troubled kid; the kid could have suffered from trauma or something like that. He could even be bullied at school because of that arrest. He could even lose his friends.

That's the problem with too much freedom in America. Some people don't have any faith in the government and the authority anymore;. Now, these citizens are getting violent, protesting, etc. That's why I think "too much liberty" is more of a bane than a boon.

I think being a nurse, it's already expected that you will be treated harshly by some stubborn patients. That's why nurses should also be very patient and understanding. Actually, I really have huge respect for nurses because their job is somehow demanding. Anyway, the man shouldn't have done...

I think all police officers get tired and fed up sometimes, but it's part of their job to deal with those people with bad behaviors, and I guess they are already used to it.
