    Can we outlast the drought?

I think each place/country around the world is suffering from global warming, not just California. Look at how bad the drought is in Africa. I think it's some sort of a warning to all of us that we should start having sympathy towards our mother nature, start taking care of our environment, and...

    Hoarder hoarding mummified body

This news somehow makes me remember the story entitled "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner about a widow who was also hoarding her husband's dead body in their home. It's a bit disturbing, actually. And yes, I hope Carolyn would be able to get some help now.

Marijuana found in Wal-Mart Easter gifts

Woah, people just better be careful next time when buying stuffs from Walmart. Good thing, her kid wasn't the first one to discover the pot. That would have been such a horrible thing.

Oh, my gosh. I didn't know people could do something like that, it's kind of insane and funny at the same time. Well, anyone could really be triggered do a lot of things in the name of money.

What does everyone think is healthy but in fact it's not?

I agree with other posters. Those diet sodas, energy drinks, sugar-free stuffs. I don't think they should considered nutritional as there have been some studies saying that these things could just worsen your health.

This one deserves a murder charge!

Yes, it's quite saddening that these things still happen. I mean, it's already 2015, and racism is still rampant. When will people be more open-minded?

100-Year-Old Man Kills Wife With Ax

That's gory. If he wanted to kill his wife, why did he have to use an axe? He could had had just poisoned her or something like that. Or he could had had just waited for their eventual deaths since they were both very old anyway.

    Aliens!! I'm so ready...

Well, I am not sure if I like meeting aliens in the near future. I think I'm not ready for an alien invasion yet. I'm kind of dreading that to happen. It's going to be sort of like Walking Dead, like having to go on war with aliens rather than zombies. It's scary.

    Boston bomber found guilty.

I am not in favor of death as a punishment since it's against my values and ideals. I think life imprisonment is just fine.

    20- life???

She should have been sentenced to life-imprisonment. That's very unfair, justice should be served rightfully.

It's rape because his wife has Alzheimer's?

I know there's such thing as marital rape. If you forced your partner to have sex with you, then that's already considered as marital rape.

Bill makes squirt guns illegal near schools

I think banning fake guns near schools is a good idea. Fake guns would just cause panic, alarm, and confusion. Much worse, it could lead to even more dangerous fatalities.

It must have been a really great buffet :(

I think he was really suffering from acute mental illness. Committing suicide just because you've got banned from eating at the resort's buffet? That sounds a bit childish to me, but yes, depression kills. Anyway, it was his fault for getting banned, the resort should not be blamed for his...

Eat out or cook at home?

It actually depends on my mood. If I feel like going out, then I'm up to finding a cozy restaurant/fast food chain and eat there. But if I'm too lazy to put on some decent clothes instead of my pajamas, I would just cook at home. I'm not a good cook though, I only make omelets, fried foods...

Californians fined heavily for long showers

Water is truly essential. It's one of the basic needs of people and one thing I know for sure is we should always try to conserve water. This policy/law is actually a good one but I don't know how they'll be able to keep track of the showers. I mean, that sounds a bit funny.

    Attack of the sea lion!

Aww. Sea lions can be very violent when they are very hungry, I guess. Well, everyone can go a little mad sometimes when food is scarce. I would be too. Anyway, good thing he didn't suffer from really serious injuries. He's still lucky.

    Cameras

I used to like photography before, but due to being too much busy with a lot of things, I have eventually lost passion for it. I don't currently own a real camera, but my mother does, and whenever I feel like it, I would borrow it from her and take random photos.

    Parole or Full Sentence?

I think it depends on the degree of his/her crime. If he/she has done heinous crimes, I don't think this person should be permitted to walk freely among other people. But, if he/she has been very well-behaved while inside the prison, I think this person somehow deserves a second shot at life.

You can kill people and get their remaining years. Would you accept this gift?

No. I couldn't imagine killing people just for this reason alone. If I ever live a hundred years, I don't think I'll ever feel happy because I'll be watching the people I love die before me, and that's going to be very painful for me. I'm not actually afraid of dying anyway. If it's my time to...
