Well, it's usually quite hard to distinguish an air rifle from a real rifle. And air rifles can be dangerous too, they can kill. In this case the officers didn't know that it was an air rifle and decided to shoot him in concern of the public safety.

Yeah but what's the point of carrying it? it's heavy, massive recoil, and the bullets cost quite a lot to get for it. I think you would be better with a Glock or something, they never let me down.
