This story really upsets me, as do all of them. I don't understand why anyone would agree to meet a stranger anywhere that wasn't 100% safe. I would insist that we seal the deal over a cup of coffee somewhere, and I would have a couple of friends with me.

Probably the best way to diffuse the situation would be to look at them, and mouth the word, "sorry," but I probably wouldn't do that. I'd probably get shot. I don't take kindly to having random loony strangers yell at me. :(

I am blown away by this! My faith in my fellow man has been restored by these parents, and the mother in Maryland! This is tough love at its finest! I just hope this 16 yr. old punk learns something from it.
