It's a difficult one. He was certainly negligent and it was a dereliction of duty, escaping the sinking ship. But I guess it's about how the law treats loss of life that isn't first degree murder. He was certainly guilty of something, particularly given the amount of people that died. But...

I think you simply have to consider a variety of different news sources. However much they deny it, different media will have different agenda. It might not be malicious. It might be simply about who they try to market themselves to. But to get a more objective viewpoint, look across the spectrum.

That just seems like an act of mindless violence. You can't legislate for that kind of thing happening. But this kind of behavior still disappoints me.

I haven't heard about a full-blown vigilante but I do know of neighborhood watch individuals going hunting for wrongdoers. As long as they stay within the laws of the land, things shouldn't be too bad. It's just when they properly take the law into their own hand that I have a problem.

I always like to watch dramas and comedies. I'm not a great fan of documentaries, though if they are based on sport they might grab my attention.

I have been blogging on and off for the last 5 years. It's a great way to express yourself, though ideally I would like to be able to make money out of it at some point in the future. I'll need to change my strategy though.

It's crazy and senseless how these types of events can take place. Another terrible and senseless death. Using murder to solve a problem is simply very sad.
