It's sad when domestic violence leads to two fatalities. No one knows the full story behind the tragedy, and I'm guessing none of us ever will. The police were just doing their job so they can't be blamed for their role.

He doesn't look like he's in a good way by the look of that picture. So I'm guessing that desperate men take desperate measures. I hope that he gets the support that he needs. Just throwing him into jail isn't going to solve some of his long-term problems.

The guy's seriously got a problem with domestic violence, as his track record shows. But why a puppy has to be used in such a situation is beyond me. I feel sorry for his ex-girlfriend. He really doesn't sound like a very nice individual.

This woman clearly needs help. No doubt she got into the career because of her predilection. But she needs to be treated like any other sex offender. Clearly she'll never work as a teacher again. But she's committed a crime and let's hope justice is served.

What the hell is going on at the moment?! Another attempted murder of police officers! Clearly a lot of people have a bit of a beef with the police at the moment. Hopefully, it's not a passage of copycat behavior we're seeing.

It makes you wonder whether we're in a new era of targeting the police. Maybe it's a copy cat issue, maybe we're only hearing about it more because of what has happened in the recent news. Either way, it's not a positive trend.

The mother clearly lost the plot because why else would you do something so clearly wrong in such a public place. I'm not a fan of the use of the belt and it certainly shouldn't be used in public. That's a criminal act in itself.

That's all pretty disturbing. How the think it's remotely funny to film a gun playing with a gun is beyond me. Putting the gun in its mouth is bad, but playing with it in the first place is where I've got the issue. It's simply not acceptable behavior.

I come at this question as a British person that isn't used to the concept. It's just not a debate we would have in the UK. But I've also lived in the US and I'm still fascinated by the whole first amendment principle and the desire to walk around with a gun. I just don't get it.
