    I'm no officer, but from my experience, logic and knowledge I'd say a MP5 is the better choice considering general scenarios. Chances are you won't attempt to shoot someone at high ranges, rather medium to short range encounters, and the MP5 is easier to handle in tight spaces too.

    The Nissan GTR would be a very interesting vehicle, fast, resilient and maneuverable. It would certainly discourage petty criminals in a large scale, as pretty much noone would be able to escape from such a car. Perhaps it is far too expensive, comparing to the typical American alternatives?

    I think both body cameras and gun cameras would be excellent, common use items. It allows for superiors to review the officer's conduct, cases in court to have more visual evidence, and would increase public security because it would be unlikely for a police officer to abuse his powers on record.
