expunged

I know that having a felony would completely disqualify you from being a cop. If you have a expunged misdemeanor would you still be able to be a cop or no? I just don't know if there is anyone with this kind of experience so I thought I ask here.

Hi guys. I'm from California and wanted to know, can I get my criminal record expunged?

When I was 14, I was arrested with for throwing rocks at some homes in the neighborhood. I pleaded guilty to a city ordinance and I paid a fine. Later in life I had everything expunged. Will that show up when I go for a police job and if it does, will I be denied?

What steps can I take to get my record sealed or expunged?
