Auburn Police Officer Ronald Tarentino was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop. Massachusetts authorities say the tragic incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Officer Tarentino was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities say the suspect in the fatal shooting had been shot in an exchange of gunfire and has died.
