Corpus Christi Police Chief Floyd Simpson Dies of Injuries From Vehicle Accident

That is pretty brutal. He was wearing a helmet but it popped off his head and his head met pavement. He sounds like a man who believed in what he was doing and was dedicated to helping people. Texas just lost a great man. My sympathies go out to his family and his friends as well as the police officers of Corpus Christi. This is a man who will be missed by many.
 
It sounds like the man had the respect of his peers and local community. What a tragic loss. My condolences go out to his family and his police force. He will no doubt leave behind a fantastic legacy, which his force seems very keen to keep alive. A caring and nurturing soul, may he RIP.
