Deputy Sheriff Carl Cosper died Friday, April 7, 2017 after his patrol vehicle crashed into a school bus.
The sheriff’s office says Deputy Cosper, 56, was heading to a domestic disturbance call when he hit the bus.
He was transported to Mercy Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver was uninjured and no children were on the school bus at the time of the wreck.
Deputy Cosper was with the Barry County Sheriff's Department for ten years.
