Detective Chad Parque passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 after suffering numerous injuries in a car crash.
Authorities say Detective Parque was returning to the station when his vehicle was hit by a wrong-way driver.
He was taken to the University Medical Center where he passed away about twelve hours after the crash.
Detective Parque, 32, was with the North Las Vegas Police Department for ten years.
He is survived by his wife and children.
