Police say a dispute over dog poop in a shared area of a three-family home led to the stabbing of two women in Springfield, Massachusetts.
33-year-old Michael Valentin was arrested for the alleged attack.
Valentin had called 911 to complain that the dog owners have not picked up after their dogs pooped in the yard. However police asked the landlord to resolve the code violation.
Valentin, who grew tired of waiting for the problem to be resolved, allegedly grabbed a knife and attacked the two victims.
Police say 46-year-old tenant was stabbed several times in the back. Her 23-year-old daughter was stabbed in the face and neck area.
They were transported to the local hospital. Authorities say their wounds are not life threatening.
Valentin was charged with armed assault with intent to murder, mayhem as well as assault and battery by a dangerous weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

ok this is a rather small issue to be stabbing someone over. Yes it can get annoying..but to stab someone? A bit over the top I would say.

Well you should pick up the dog duty. I'm not sure that this is the way to handle it. A little over the top. He could have just rubbed their noses in it.

Yeah, he could have done anything except hurting the other person. He lost all his reason, hurt someone and got himself in trouble...
