ST. CLOUD, Fla. Police have arrested and charged a man with stabbing his daughter with a sword.
Authorities in St. Cloud, Florida, told reporters that they went to the home of the suspect around 10 p.m. Friday after 911 was called in.
The suspect Juan Lovine, 44, allegedly stabbed his daughter with a sword. The sword first went through her forearm and then into her chest cavity.
Ambulance took her to Orlando Regional Medical Center and currently is in stable condition.
The suspect was also brought to the hospital with an eye injury. Police did not release any information on how he was injured. Authorities have charged Lovine with attempted felony murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
