Former MLB star Chuck Knoblauch arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-wife

Chuck Knoblauch was arrested Wednesday at his home near Houston for allegedly assaulting his ex-wife, Cheri Knoblauch.
His alleged victim told officers she was sleeping in her child's bedroom
when the suspect pushed open the door and began yelling that "she should have slept with him."
"When she got up from the bed she said that the defendant grabbed her and began to smash her head against a wall," according to a police report. "He then threw a humidifier at her."
Police also said the suspect "seemed to be extremely intoxicated" during the fingerprinting and booking process.

Police said the victim had a large bruise on her arm, a large laceration on the left side of her face and a knot on her forehead.
This isn't the first time Knoblauch has been accused of hitting a woman. In 2010, he was convicted of assault for striking Stacey Stelmach, his wife at the time and sentenced to a year of probation.
He charged with assault of a family member, and later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Knoblauch, 46, was scheduled to be inducted into the Twins Hall of Fame. However the Twins said earlier today they decided to cancel the Aug. 23 ceremony “in light of recent news reports surrounding Chuck Knoblauch.â€

It takes a silly moment to destroy a life one has built through sweat and blood. It is important for someone to realize if they can handle alcohol or not! Knoblaunch had a bright star which he has put out by his actions. It is important to admit when one needs help; hopefully he will get it where he is going.
