Getting pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt? I was driving with my seatbelt on and I told my passenger to put on his seatbelt, well he didn't. A cop pulled me over. Who is responsible for the ticket, me or the passenger.

In my state if the passenger is 16 or older, he is issued the ticket and not the driver.
