Alix Catherine Tichleman, 26, of Folsom was arrested Friday in connection with the November death of a Google executive, Forrest Hayes.
Hayes was a regular client of Tichelman, an alleged high-priced call girl. Hayes, 51, died of a heroin overdose on a docked yacht.
Santa Cruz police said Tichelman had an “ongoing prostitution relationship†with Hayes.
Police collected video from a security camera on the yacht. It shows Tichelman with the victim the night he died. It also shows Tichelman prepared and injected him with heroin.
In the video you can see Hayes “suffering medical complications and going unconscious,†authorities said.
Police say the suspect didn't even try to help the victim. Instead of calling 911, she gathered her stuff, finished her glass of wine and walked over Hayes as she left.
"She showed no regard for him. She was just trying to cover her tracks," said Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark.

Hayes was found dead the next morning by the boat's captain, police said.
Clark was asked if this was accidental or if Tichelman was trying to kill Hayes. He said the evidence illustrates a level of guilt that achieved second-degree murder instead of involuntary. "It's an amazing case," responded Clark.
Clark said the suspect supplied drugs to the victim and was responsible for the death of Hayes.
"She had a responsibility to provide some lifesaving effort." "She showed absolutely no regard for this person she injected with heroin," said Clark.
Alix Catherine is currently in Santa Cruz County Jail, in lieu of $1.5 million bail. She is going to be arraigned on Wednesday.

She took the time to finish off her wine while this man lay there dying. This is so inhumane to have no regard for a person she had an ongoing relationship with. People never fail to surprise me at how cold they can become. I hope that her sentence fits the crime.
