Dallas police officers are angry about comments from the elected official who is refusing to honor the officers that were ambushed a year ago.

The Dallas County Commission voted to create July 7 a day to honor all fallen police officers. However, everyone voted 'yes,' except for Commissioner John Wiley Price.

"Abstained," said Commissioner John Wiley Price. "It’s interesting in this country how you again continue to try to frame a narrative with regards to other people who have lost their lives at the hands of law enforcement. Any loss of life is bad."
