Last week I was informed that I wasn't hired. I'm just wondering is that considered the same as being disqualified. Will they inform the person they were DQ'd or just tell you that you are not hired.

Not the same, you were not selected to move on. A DQ means that the job was yours until something came up from your past that prevented you from getting it.

I agree with Tbrannon44. Alot of the applicants don't get selected, you just keep on trying until it happens. Good luck.
