Alto Turner pleaded guilty to three separate charges for two separate events during his appearance in Mercer County Superior Court.
The 25-year old confessed to attacking his former girlfriend and also resisting arrest by running from law enforcement in January. He also confessed to making an attempt to cash a $5,000 check he forged.
The prosecutor proposed that Turner should serve 364 days in the county jail, and also serve one probation sentence. He also suggested that Turner pay restitution that is owed to the victims. According to officials, the judge accepted the proposal.
