Man poses for mug shot wearing a orange t-shirt that has the image of himself having his mug shot taken last time he had his mug shot taken.
Police arrested 19-year-old Robert Burt of Pittsfield, Maine in June for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving without a license.
After the arrest, a co-worker Burt's decided to have some fun with him by screen-printing the mug shot on an orange T-shirt with his photo captioned “Burt Family Reunion 8/8-8/10/2014†and “sponsored by Bud Light and Somerset County Sheriff.†According to police records, Burt has a family member at the jail, hence the family reunion reference.
Burt worked out a plea deal to the charges and he was sentenced to spend two days behind bars.
When he showed up to start serving his time on August 8, Burt decided to have some fun and wear his shirt featuring the photo of himself from the June arrest.
When he was released he posted his jail photo on Facebook. “Probably the best mug shot ever haha,†Burt wrote.
According to Burt, he said the corrections officers were very amused. Allegedly, they asked Burt to hold the sign in his mug shot at just the right angle “so you could see the shirt,†he posted on Facebook.
“They laughed there asses off,†Burt wrote.
