A Philadelphia man used a banana he grabbed from the convenience store counter to simulate a gun while he robbed the place.

I've seen it in so many movies I didn't actually think that someone would try it for real! I guess, if it works it works. Still, from the shop worker's perspective it didn't matter whether it was a gun or a banana - they were probably terrified and likely scarred for life. So whether it's a gun or banana, hopefully the justice system comes down suitably hard on the perpetrator.
