Hamilton. The New Jersey State Police has arrested four people over the last week, charged with committing the commercial burglaries in Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Atlantic, and Sussex Counties.
The four suspects are believed to have committed at least 20 burglaries to businesses in six N.J. counties, authorities said today.
The State Police said that Francisco Chadwick was seen on video surveillance disabling security systems of businesses by cutting the wires, before going into the building and taking computers, electronics, money and alcohol. Authorities believe that it was Chadwick who is the leader of the gang.
On Friday, authorities discovered that Chadwick was in the Ocean County Jail on a drug court probation violation. State Police detectives went to interview him, and then charged Chadwick with six counts of burglary and theft. His bail was set at $150,000, and he still remains in the jail.
State Police made three more arrests Monday. Adam Laczny, 26, Walter Ivans, 22 and Heather Yesuvida, 24. Police also charged Yesuvida with receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
Police said they expect to more charges against the suspects will be filed by municipal police departments in Allentown, Plumsted Township, Jackson Township, East Windsor Township, Hammonton Township, and Franklin Borough, Sussex County.
All four suspects remain in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of bail.
