Damian Thompson, the 19-year old teen accused of wounding two undercover Miami-Dade detectives in Brownsville, will not get out of jail while he awaits trial.
A Miami-Dade judge ordered Thompson held without bail on two charges of attempted murder.
Authorities say Thompson fired multiple shots in an "ambush-style attack" on the two undercover Miami-Dade detectives while they sat in an unmarked vehicle.
"They were ambushed in their vehicle, unprovoked," said Miami-Dade Police Maj. Hector Llevat.
