Off duty officer who saved drowning child credits faith in God

Clovis Police Corporal Curtis Shurtliff and his family were wrapping up a camping trip at Dinkey Creek in Fresno County, California last week, when he heard screams near their campsite. When they ran to investigate, they found a five-year-old boy who had just been pulled from the water.

I checked for a pulse. There was no pulse," Shurtliff said. I looked at the kid's pupils. They were fixed and they were dilated.
