McCrory Police Officer Robert Barker was killed in a vehicle crash Thursday, September 15, 2016.
Around 5:00 am, Officer Barker was responding to a call to assist the Woodruff County Sheriff's Office when a deer ran in front of his cruiser.
He was taken to a hospital in Searcy where he was pronounced dead.
Officer Barker was a four-year veteran of the McCrory Police Department. He is survived by his wife.
