Police say a burglary at a pawn shop in Baton Rouge was a part of a larger scheme to attack police officers in the surrounding area.
Authorities say there are four suspects involved in the burglary, and three of them have been taken into custody. One of the suspects was arrested on the scene with possession of a handgun and a BB gun.
During questioning, the teen admitted to the police that he and the three other suspects stole the guns and were going to get bullets to shoot the police.
Authorities have yet to identify the fourth suspect, who is still at large, They are asking that he turn himself in immediately.
Police consider the threats credible. The investigation is still ongoing.
