New Jersey. The River Vale Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly made a bomb threat. Mohamed Foda, 59, a recently terminated employee was looking for retaliation and had targeted the Jewish Home Assisted Living.
An employee of the Jewish Home Assisted Living told police that he had been contacted by the suspect, Foda. The suspect who was recently fired, allegedly threatened to bomb his former employer's car.
Police blocked off the area close to the former employer's car and then called for backup from the Bergen County Police Department's Bomb Squad. After searching the car and surrounding areas by a bomb technician and a police K-9 yielded no suspicious devices, the area was cleared, said Police Detective Sgt. John DeVoe.
Authorities have charged Mohamed Foda with terroristic threats and was released pending an initial appearance in the River Vale Municipal Court on May 7, DeVoe said.
