Police Officer Nathan B. Graves was killed on January 24, 2017, when his patrol cruiser was hit head-on by an oncoming car.

Authorities say 45-year-old Nathan Graves was killed when a 21-year-old driver swerved into the officer's lane and struck head-on, along Hwy 99, around 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Graves was a police officer with the Sac and Fox Nation, and he also worked with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. Earlier in his career, he served with the Stroud Police Department and also the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Police Department.

He is survived by his wife and children.
