The Maine police officer who was critically injured in a boating accident has died of his injuries.
Officer Nathan M. Desjardins died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from injuries he sustained last month while trying to save a boater’s life.
Desjardins, 20, was going into his senior year at the University of New England. He had served as a part time officer with the Fryeburg Police Department for three months.
Nathan Desjardins is survived by his parents, and brother.
