Illinois police arrested a pregnant woman after posting photos of herself wearing a leopard-print dress she allegedly stole just earlier in the day.
Danielle Saxton, 27, allegedly took clothes and jewelry from Mortie's Boutique in Illinois while shopping on July 11.
Owner Kert Williams was returning to the store when he spotted the suspect leaving with items including a dress, shirts and jewelry. Suspecting she was shoplifting, he went to look at his security footage which, he said, confirmed his suspicion.
'What she stole was a very distinct leopard dress,' Williams said.
Hours after Williams went on the store's Facebook page to post details about the theft which included confirmation of the incident with the store's security footage.

Meanwhile the suspect posted selfies of herself wearing the pilfered neon leopard print dress. She even made one of the pictures her profile picture.
Citizens who had seen the Boutique's post about the theft were able to make the connection and alert police.
"Not two hours and our stolen dress has shown up on Facebook," Mortie's posted. "Gotta love it."
Police Chief Shawn Talluto said when officers arrested Saxton at her home they found two t-shirts, sunglasses and a necklace on Saxton taken from the boutique.
"We just had a description and a direction of travel, but when the social media aspect played into it, we were able to identify who it was.
"And by looking at the background of the photograph we were able to pinpoint where she was at," Talluto said.
The employees were in the back working at the time of the incident. And Saxton's excuse was there wasn't anybody in the store.
"With having the cameras now we've been able to catch the people," said store co-owner Kert Williams. "We've had an instance before where we caught the people, you know, posting on Facebook. It's a way of shame."
Saxton was arrested and charged with retail theft less than $300, police reported.

If there was a competition of how to be stupid, this girl would have won hands down. She stole a dress and posted a photo in her profile wearing it. The social media platforms have made life so much interesting. It is unfortunate that she is carrying an innocent life that will be affected by her actions.
