A San Diego police officer was transported to the hospital after his patrol car slammed into a vehicle, stated authorities.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dairy Mart Road and Beyer Boulevard in San Ysidro.
The police officer suffered a wrist injury. The driver of the van, was not injured.
