Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper Anthony J. Borostowski was killed in a car crash while on duty Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Sauk County sheriff's officials stated Borostowski had lost control of his patrol car and hit a tree along side Interstate 90 around 4:30 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“We are still investigating to determine if the trooper was attempting to catch up to a violator and what caused him to lose control of the patrol car,” Sheriff Chip Meister said.
Trooper Anthony J. Borostowski, 34, had been with the Wisconsin State Patrol for three years.
