Trooper Brian S. Falb died Monday, March 13, 2017 of an illness related to working at Ground Zero after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
After the attacks, Falb had been assigned to New York City to aid in the search and recovery efforts. Officials say in May 2016, he was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Trooper Brian Falb was a NY State Trooper for eighteen years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, and their four children.
