Tucson has been called "Most Dangerous City in the State."
The Tucson Police Department are now defending their work after the article named Tucson the most dangerous city in Arizona.
"Articles and titles like that are really unfortunate. They really don't put the context and unfortunately, in this case, it is also inaccurate," Tucson Police's Lieutenant John Strader said.
The article said it utilizes data in the FBI's Uniform Crime Report, which Strader stated it has many mistakes.
"We are not one of the most dangerous cities, we are not a dangerous city overall for our community," he stated. "Most of the crimes that occur in this community are not stranger based crimes."
Lieutenant Strader said his department supply crime reports on the their website.
