Two police officers were injured during the NJ shootout with the bombing suspect.
Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage confirmed two officers were hit in the shootout with Rahami. One of the officer's was struck in his vest, and the other was shot in the hand.
The names of the officers and their condition has not been released.
Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28-year-old Elizabeth, NJ resident suspected in a series of explosions in New Jersey and New York over the weekend.
Rahami was shot by police. He was taken to the hospital, his condition was not available.
