- On August 29, troopers were dispatched to a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 75 near West Chester Township in Butler County. Upon arriving on the scene, troopers observed the vehicle occupied by two men. The vehicle doors were locked and both occupants were unresponsive, so a trooper broke a door window to enter the vehicle and remove the two men. It was quickly determined both occupants were suffering from a heroin overdose.
