Hartford, CT - Yesterday, August 31, 2016 around 1:30 PM, a trooper from Troop H – Hartford was patrolling north on I-91 south of exit 42 in Windsor Locks. As you’ll see in the video, a simple lane change set off a chain of events which resulted in the trooper swerving to avoid a motorcyclist, colliding with the concrete center divider and then colliding with the tractor-trailer. Luckily, only minor injuries were reported. The operator of the tractor-trailer was found to be at fault for the collision and was issued an infraction ticket for unsafe lane change
