- SOUTH LA / EL MONTE -A man wanted on suspicion of felony domestic violence was shot by Los Angeles police officers in El Monte today at the end of a two- hour vehicle pursuit, authorities said. The shooting occurred near Garvey Avenue and Valley Boulevard around 3:35 a.m., said LAPD Officer Matthew Ludwig. No officers were injured, he said.
